This may not count, but back in the day of Bodog, I was playing Micro Stakes poker on a Tuesday, my day off from work, was losing, got bored, wandered over to the Bodog Casino, with $45 left in my account.

Played Carribean Stud poker, and had $1 on Ante and $1 on progressive jackpot. (I had no idea what that was BTW, just read to always play it)

Was dealt a Royal Straight Flush, won the $1 ante, it paid $250!!! But then I glanced over at my balance, and saw it was now at $145,000!!! (100% of the Progressive Jackpot) WTF! Called Bodog customer service and they verified the money was in fact mine and available for withdrawal.

Being the degenerate gambler that I am, I messed up around $8k worth of it before waking up and putting in for a $135,000.00 withdrawal. It was approved.. I think my last bet was $500 on Black Roulette. Landed on 00. :) Then I woke up!

They did not pay me all at once, but during the next six months I received Express Mail envelopes, weekly, with checks totaling the $145,000.00. I think they even over paid me a little.

It changed my life, was able to quit a job I hated and pursue something else that I am still doing today..

That's my Royal Flush story...
