Have you regretted making a donk bet?

No regrets, I was rolling..

At a tourney, I started by getting a lot of great cards, was on a roll. Had KK ran into trip diamonds, smart move is to shut down, possible flush out there. I had a dumb feeling, and kept on going with my KK, lost to the flush I feared.
The opponent ended up getting ITM, good for him, at least my dumb bet made it happen for somone.

It's a legit strategy. I don't know why you should be regretting if it won't work in some situations.
