Having difficulty moving back from PLO8 to NLHE!!!

Just shooting the breeze here.

I have been playing lots of PLO8 and doing quite well. However, the last week or so I`ve been getting stale, so I am going back to NLHE for a while.

WOW!!! Only playing $2 SNG/ MTT but u can`t get anyone to fold anything

What kind of size bets pre & post flop get these people to fold bottom pair & worse kicker?

Preflop I`m raising 3-4 times BB then postflop about 1/2 to 3/4 pot as a c bet or even when I hit.

What I tried was pushing all in with AK, got 3 callers 88/ AQ/ AA - this was within the first 10 hands. Thought I had a read on the guy with AQ, unlucky the rock after me in the sb woke up with AA.

Any ideas guys

Winrate at that level does not come from making others fold imo. It comes from showing down the best hand and allowing them to make terrible plays. Play tight and just try to show down the best hand, knowing its totally possible you can be called down on a 3barrel with bottom pair or even ace hi.

If your plan for micro-stakes NLHE is to bluff people into folding marginal hands you're in for a lot of pain. Just focus on extracting value from your big hands and making solid push / fold decisions preflop when you're short stacked or on the bubble.
