Ok so my back ground on the autistic spectrum cant get any decent jobs degraded socially etc fired all the time cause dont fit in with people. turned to poker payed my way through uni i did that seriously.
then started looking at live poker noticed i kill tournaments, live, but the other day i was looking at the cash table and what i saw made my jaw drop,
on a board of 4568 river yet to come two players get all in one has q7 the other has 66. barring some real strange bluffing and etc that shold never be all in the 66 should fold. were talking for over 100 bb with most of the that all in been on the turn.
i saw another guy draw to a set with 22 to the river and then hit it he lost to a higher set but heres the thing i have little experience in cash and am now looking at turning to poker for a living and live cash is much more fishy for a variety of reasons.
now its going to be a few months before my life poker bank roll allows me to play cash, so i have time but this is looking like my future income and i need to take it seriously.
few questions.
1. am i missing something here is this standard plays for cash they look very fishy to me but i am new to it pretty sure its just bad play.
2. where can i learn info on cash games sources good books etc i know theres many but lets face it some are bad some are good any wed recommend?
my plan is to start practising online get a feel for it i need to play 9 handed and some six handed as this is the standard cash games at my casino probs 9 handed i need to learn the ins and outs etc.
and any general advice to get me ready for this, note i will playing mathmatical poker not looking for tells as i cant do this and my method of sit still and stare at a spot till they move or fold works live.
