Friends what should we look at to choose the best poker player? Amount of money won, tournaments won, how many times have you cashed, etc?

Skill is demonstrated by statistics, not the money won, although those two go hand in hand.

If you speak if players from the same generation you can use money won or bracelets. If we speak about players from different generations the only way to make accurate comparison is to count the time for which the player was able to play on top level. If somebody managed to be at top level for 20, 30, 40 or 50 years that is the most serious achievement that you can think of.

It depends. You can be a good player, but you might not have played in big tournaments (with big cash prizes). Some of the best have backers who give them lots of money to play so they have more opportunities. Maybe a consistency in winning and small loses?

I believe that a player's weekly or monthly income directly reflects his performance.

It must be the sum of various factors ... such as ... the prizes won, the tournaments won, his statistics, and of course his abilities to face each spot and make the most of every hand he plays ...!

He simply considers himself a good poker player, who reaches great instances and has achieved titles in his life, and plenty of tournament experience, thus managing to adapt to any type of player.:cool::cool:
