If I was playing stud and buying in for a hundred, I'd play half or double, so when my buy in hit $50 or $200 it was time to go. It's really easy to do this when you live somewhere that you have easy access to a casino, and you can get there pretty much whenever you want, as opposed to someone who has to do some travelling to get there, and feels that if they leave it is going to be a while before they can get back to play.
