It was an autonomous decision, a resolution (portaria/resolução) From sports ministery, i dont know the right word in english. There is still a lack of general regulation but the cbth is registered on sports ministery and also have a events schedule. The tax of 27.5% is just because this lack of regulation, could be less if it was fairly taxed with specific legislation (on a optimist view hahaaha) knowing our politicians, its better wait for equal taxes as today...

once i deposit to my bank account from pokerstars they take a percentage for gambling, it has to be over a certain amount or has to be continually being deposited for them to take a percenatge. If its a very large amount i would have to go in and sign some papers :D
