It can be stressful or overwhelming if you're at a muscle table. I think I've heard some females say it's boring. (Though I personally don't get the appeal of hitting a button on the slots either lol.) In any case, the appeal of playing professional poker for me as a woman (scratch that, as an intellectual *person*) is the mental challenge and personal growth of it. I mean the competitive energy and potential winnings are nice too, but understanding variance, you can't win them all, and playing the cards you're dealt the best you can... I love every second of it. It's a mindset I take home to apply elsewhere. I dream of playing in-- scratch that, WINNING-- the World Series of Poker. Not because I'm a woman, but because of the challenge and who I'd become in the process. And I'm really curious about how other women feel about pursuing professional poker too. [/QUOTE]
