How long do you think is appropriate to play poker?

I have multiple answers.
1. Until bedtime
2. I run out of money
3. I start making bad decisions.
4. I want to eat something.
5. My wife says it's time to leave.
6 so my answer is: It depends.

If the player is a professional, then I think the gaming session should last at least 8 hours, and this should be 5-6 days a week. And if the player is an amateur, then everyone should choose for themselves. I am currently an amateur, and I can play for 3-4 hours a day, and about a week ago my gaming session lasted 12 hours. Now I don't play at all, I decided to take a break and do other things. It all depends on what goal the player sets for himself and what he wants to achieve in the field of poker.

Everyone has their own schedule. I play poker in the evenings after work. I play for 4-5 hours on average. Sometimes on weekends I play for 6-8 hours. For me, poker is primarily a hobby, so I play when I have free time and a good mood.

Since I am an MTT player with a small bankroll, my session lasts until the last hand, and when it comes - after half an hour or 9 hours, the poker gods and lady fortune decide.

Hi, I usually play 4 hours at the weekend. But I think if you play everyday you should play certain time in the morning take a break and play again in the afternoon o night in the same way 3 o 4 hours.

Appropriate time to play is an interesting question. It really would depend on what you are looking to do in poker. Many days i play 3 to 4 hours at most if I go deeper and maybe win a small tournament. I am also just playing for the enjoyment of the game. There are days I have played just 10 minutes and was knocked out of a tournament of just not feeling it when playing cash games.

as long as you are still feeling good, if you are 8 hours into a tournament and you are fine then everything is ok but if you are only 1 hour playing and you are having a bad day it is time to stop
