Hi, so firstly the size in $ does not matter, what matters are the limits you play
A bankroll of $100, $500 or $1000 you manage them the same way, by playing the limits your afford following a bankroll management and the limits you are confortable playing.

You manage your bankroll the same way of its size. You should have at least 30 buy-ins for micro stakes cash games and 50-100 for mid or high stakes cash games. For tournaments, 300-500 buy-ins (takes into account the extremely high variance of MTT's and assumes that you will rebuy/re-enter at least once per tourney. These guidelines might seem too conservative, but they will minimize the risk of going broke.

Play what you know with volume and ready, without going over the edge, with 500 dollars I would recommend sits & go 7usd or 15usd

Really depends on your risk factor and ability to re-load. I shift mine around but this is about what I go off of. Primarily a MTT player, although I am trying to get myself into SnG sessions for when I don't have time for MTTs.

Cash - 40 Buy-In's
Turbo SNG - 60 Buy-In's
MTT's - 125 Buy-In's*

*I play small field MTTs on ACR and Ignition, so if you're playing MASSIVE field MTTs this # should change.

It should be managed the same way. One rule of thumb is you want to have 100 x the buy in at your limits. So with a $100 bankroll, you play $1 tournaments. With a $1000 roll you play $10 tournaments.

You can loosen this up if you have a very strong ROI and play smaller field tournaments where you have a significant edge, but it's a good rule of thumb.

Calculate your bankroll so that it is at least 100-200, buy-in for the tournaments in which you usually play. If you have $ 500 in your bankroll, then you should play tournaments for 2.5 $ -5 $, not more. Otherwise, you risk one day getting into tilt and losing all your bankroll. Play on the limits and you will succeed! Good luck!

This is normal.
Everyone needs to study.
Bankroll management depends entirely on your temperament.
In my case, the permissible risk is 1-2% of the deposit per day.
But, I play only MTT tournaments.

I had a BR recently of almost $2,700 (big casino win) and thought I was "poker rich". Joined a 100NL table and realised I could lose that entire BR in an evening.

So I withdrew the lot and went back to the micros where I belong.

I think sensible BR management would be:

$100 - play at 5NL
$500 - play at 16NL
$1000 - withdraw $500 and play at 16NL as well

I also manage the bankroll. However, I never lost a lot of money with this system. The level of your game is also important.

Absolutely not important is the size of your bankroll in cash equivalent. Only its size in buyin is important, which is determined by you at the beginning of the rise at the limits. If you are exaggerated by the amount of money on the limit you play, then think about it, if money is so hard on you, maybe you should lower it and play comfortably.
