3) Downswings can be devastating because you lose money which you need to pay the bills etc. As others mentioned bankroll management is ma must but still it might be terrible for your mental health
4) Consider the fact that for example tax law might change or poker could be totally prohibited in your country (which happened in many countries in the past), also poker players might got just better on average reducing your payouts

Summarizing - I think living from poker is difficult but doable. But I would still like to have a job which gives me just a basaic salary to pay my bills and buy food. Earning with poker is much better as an additional payout (sometimes bigger sometimes smaller) to make your living better. But quiting job and earning solely on poker requires not only extraordinary skill but also great self discipline.
