Your job would be poker.  There differences are big to.  Have a bad 60 hour week of poker and you may win nothing .  Bad week at work, well at least you have your paycheck to get you though the week.  Then look at some top pro players.  One year they make a ton.  Next year they may lose money and the 3rd year just break even before having a good winning year in year 4. Would you be able to deal with this?

If I could I admit I would love to play poker professionally.  2 reasons why I dont, I could not deal with the swings of the game as I described above and 2 I am not likely as good as I need to be to play professionally.  Actually pretty sure I am no where need that good.

If you decided to try I wish you the best of luck but I have to admit I would not recommend you quite your job to try this.
