Bugs Bunny. He was asked to play "draw poker", so he doodled a sketch of a fireplace poker and asked the guy, "Do I win?" In a bout of frustration, the guy deals out 5 cards and tells Bugs that they're playing 5 card draw and best hand wins. The villain shows a full-house and asks, "What'choo got sucka?" Bugs replies, "I've got 2 pair. I gotta pair of ones and another pair of ones..." This is where he shows his 4 of a kind, aces. Hysteria ensues and Bugs makes out like a bandit. I think I was 5 or 6 the first time I saw that toon.

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved card games. Spent a lot of time playing fool, bura. I watched the live tournaments on TV in fascination, dreaming of one day being among them.I learned that you don’t have to go to a house to play cards for money, you just need to create an account in one of the poker rooms.
Poker for me quickly became a hobby that I will never stop loving.

First site which i get know was Everest poker. This site i found out because of my brother. Nowadays i play only PS and i know it from tv advertisement.

I met him through a friend who played poker on Facebook and he taught me the rules. Afterwards I really liked it and I started learning and studying on my own and I have been playing poker since 2009.

Not sure how we got started but we were playing poker in the early 80's as kids. Nothing serious but we had fun.

How had I found modern poker? I had gone back to college to change my Carrer and get a 2nd degree. I was doing my usual over preparing for my finals when I took a break and put on ESPN to see what was up in the sports word. wsop was on and I was hooked.

I found out watching a poker video on YouTube and just liked the game and started playing poker after which, when I installed the game, I really liked it now I play poker almost every day and I think playing this great game and making money playing is very cool

Guess you right - i should rather wave white flag and/or give royal treatment by rolling down red carpet for these 'CC colleagues' ...

I found out at a early age my parents ,grandparents and good friends played every weekend for pennies i was 4 0r 5 back then in the 60s.

My father had a home game. He invited family and friends. So that was big money at the time back in the 1970s. It was extremely exciting to watch the craic that was to be had at the table. Quite a rowdy get together it was too, plenty of ribbing and bants.

I discovered Poker in the movie Maverick. After a while I started playing on a Facebook App but stopped. Then a brother-in-law told me about the game and I started playing again. But until then only with fictitious money. When the pandemic started in 2020 I put 10 dollars into PokerStar and every 10 I lost 110 dollars. Then I discovered CardsChat and now we are here

Once in my 1st year at university, my classmate invited everyone to play poker for money. I needed money to buy a new computer mouse. That's how I found out about poker. And I won this tournament (there were 6 players participating). Then I found the PokerStars site and started playing on it.
