A bit of advice. I`ve been playing for about a year now. Doing ok - bankroll has increased in that time from $200 to $5000ish - not bad ? (helped by a few MTT victories)
 
Recently I have been taking some major bad beats, and I mean major (I don`t know if u can see my other recent posts with hand history)
 
What I do know is that it is very rare for me to go all in or to showdown and be behind - fact!!! I can`t remember the last time this happened other than a week or so ago I was on a nut flush draw, I was the big stack, and the odds for me to call his all in bet were 5:1 - I called and hit my heart flush. The only other times are when I am short stacked and I have to gamble. I know I am probably behind at this stage.
 
Now I know that poker odds work out over a long period, so it got me thinking. If that is the case, would I not be better playing in higher stake buy in games, so that when my luck improves I win bigger?
 
Also, if I was to play in say $50+ buy in MTT + SNG`s ppl may be less inclined to go all in with crap? (Well, some of the time!!!) and therefore my hands are more likely to hold up.
 
This post is on the back of a lot of games where I have gone out to runner runners, 2 outers on river a few time, etc - and I don`t play a mass of games!!!
 
P.S. I forgot to add, I am one of the best poker players in the world!!!
