No doubt what many say in these quotes are true. Play money in not like real money at any stretch of the imagination. One needs to realize this. And, the veteran player know this and are not influenced by the plays what son ever.

I play play money just to relax. And, watch TV at the same time.

However, in saying that, I have made hundreds of dollars selling play money when one could get 3, 4, dollars a million. Some buyers of play money would pay through a poker site, and that is considered a deposit.

In saying this, playing FR and micro poker also does not reflect real money poker in the big picture. As, playing for serious money is far different strategy than one will find in these small games.

I have found that when I branch out to play with the "big boys" I am send packing: broke and with my tail between my lets. lol All because my only experience is play money and penny games.

I thing the general theory is to start playing at a lower level amounts in poker. And, when one finds themselves winning more times than they lose, move to a higher lever, etc.

Personally, I  am a poor player, and realize that. But, still love playing online poker. And, belonging to a poker social club like "cardschat"
