It's part of a ridiculous string of luck I've had lately where nearly every other marginal hand I fold ends up being quads, a full house, straight, or in this case... a royal flush, whereas every strong hand (or marginal hand) I end up playing gets either outright cracked or simply second best. Trying to ride out the wave, but it's getting ridiculous. I know that I can't call an AI two rounds into a tournament with KQo so I know it's the right decision. But it's still frustrating me a little bit. I need to get my bankroll up to where I can migrate out of the .25 cent tourneys because people just aren't playing poker. They're playing "who can All In the fastest." Can anyone tell me if the dynamic changes in the $1 tourneys, or do I still have some plowing to do? Here's the hand for anyone who's interested.
