Hmm...... re-thinking this lately. I think I would probably sub-contract out my part-time job (I manage some old apt. buildings in a small town/city in BC (Can.) a few miles from US border... at least all of the manual labour part of it but keep an apt. for myself as an office (sublet it .... obviously to an online US tourney reg. who wanted a cheap place to live in Canada) so that I could maintain my address for my disability cheque (yes I'm also on disablity with chronic illness... not from the 'chronic' btw). Then I'd move to somewhere WARM & near (or on) the beach. Maybe Belize as long as my neighbour wasn't McAfee (< I don't support guns although a part-time job for him there would be kinda cool). Or maybe Thailand? Somewhere that I could live cheaply but of course needs to have great internet (lol). I'd like to be able to take my partner somewhere warm & on the ocean as she's never travelled to anywhere like that before. She's also extremely ill with limited time to live so it would be a very cool thing to be able to take her somewhere like this (probably going to plan a vacation for this fall.... but moving there would obv. be wayyyy cooler). I'd probably grind low stakes MTT's 3days/wk. for grocery money & entertainment expenses (ie. scuba & snorkelling..... I don't drink so big savings there!). I chose Belize as I have an ex-brother inlaw (my niece & nephew's father) who was born & raised there. He grew up in a small, poor village but is a very cool area! (he survived by fishing & diving for conch shells but lost his ability to earn a living when he blew out his eardrum (they free-dive 60' & deeper to bring up conch... my sister met him while travelling... then sent him a ticket & flew him to Canada. He actually showed up at Airport in middle of January, over 2ft. of new snow on the ground, wearing shorts & a pair of sandals!!!). Anyways, he's got excellent contacts for me to go & live there very cheaply. Question: What tourney do I have to win (or cash in) to get this initial $250k? Can I do it in stages? (ie. win the Sunday Storm & then go back-to-back weeks with a victory in the Sunday Million? or maybe along the lines of what Bigdogpckt5's just did with his back-to-back SunMillion final table chops? ... hmm.. first I'd need to finish HU in the Storm or takedown the Bigger$11 or something closer to what I'm currently playing). Next week? Week after? I'll be playing both each week from now on til' I win my $250k! (maybe I get a big inheritance before then though???).
