I think Brian and PC69 are both are the right scorecard. Now ... why ?? Oh yeah, it's easy to win a few sheckles in a FR and run off to the tables with your pants on fire, just to lose it all and return to the freerolls ... once again. Same 'easy' for those who deposit $50, run off to the $1/$2 NLHE tables to make their huge fortune, and return quickly to the cashier to reload. If being a failure time after time, after time, after time is your bag, let no one stand in your way. The rest of us love your money ... :D If you want something that is basically fool-proof and failure resistant, follow Brian's trek and PC69's thinking ... you'll never reload again ... I started the same thinking earlier this year, but with a twist. I started FT and Stars with -0- on both and have NEVER made a deposit on ANY poker site (never will either). I got tired of the yo-yo BR over the prior 2 years. I prefer playing on Stars, so my real BR under BR management guidelines is on Stars. I also have a small (accumulated) BR on FT that I apply 'modified' BRM to and use for my CC games and 'questionable' BR management entries, but I get to play the CC games that are fun for me. I still only use a portion of that FullTilt BR and didn't start until I had over $50 'saved up'. On Stars I now have a withdrawable balance. I applied what Brian wants to do, accumulated a BR from freerolls, stayed away from big buy-ins and ring games until I had over $60. Now I can play the ring games I want to within good BRM, leaving a majority as winning sessions, and can even join a few CC Invasion games (for $2.20 plus the $1 LPS added) anytime I want, without EVER getting hurt. Patience, Brian. It pays off handsomly. Keep those meager sheckles from burning a hole in your pocket and you'll find that playing with a nice cushion (i.e., BR) behind you is a great feeling. GL on your trek Brian. PC ... it's a good plan. It's worked well for me so far. ... ;)
