Hi, i feel you, its the anxiety, you need to think about it, why do you feel it? what activities didnt make you feel anxious and you can do them for hours?, whats the difference? what are the expectatives of both? Honestly, if you cant control the anxiety, you cant play poker with real money, i still have troubles with that and literally im in the 1° place and didnt got even a prize on a tournament. Do you feel same levels of anxiety in cash tables and torunament ones?, not me, becouse i know i can sit out from the table any time at cash, and tourneys... when im the chip leader its like i wish this ends now and i start playing fool hands, becouse my anxiety wants to see the display of how much cash i have won, or not, and trigger an emotional response, that motivates me to 1. another match, 2. a rest, both are okay, but if you think that emotional answers of this kind are affecting the way you play, its a red flag, trust me, its something that i still struggle. Talk with yourself, maybe do a secondary activity, i like to search for csgo skins, chat with someone i want, but not at the point of distracting me... im really easy to distract. If i find me bored, i will get anxious super fast and throw my cash, specially becouse im more of torunaments, not a cash player, so, it just lead me to feel bad cuz i played so stupid and if the compulsion is here, i have been playing fool hands for hours and lost a ton of my bankroll. Just remember when you play that smooth games, like the king of the table, have the control of all, and you feel great with yourself, your confidence grows, the anxiety doesnt kick, and you feel you have done a good job. And compare to the anxiety and compulsive behaivor that makes you do bad decisions and at the end of the day feel wrong with yourself. Choose one of that two, your decision, the rest is conciouncess and training, the patience will put away the anxiety, but is like any other habit, hard to remplace, but at the end of the day, is your own decision, when you are honest and aware of your reality. That applies in tons of areas in my life personally :D
