Cash Tables however are illegal in every Pub, they do happen but it still doesn't mean the are are Legal. the only place you can take part in a Cash game is in a Licensed Casino,
We ran a legitimate, game in our local Pub and one of our regular players was a Police Sargent, and he once said the Police had bigger problems than busting a £5 Poker Game and as long as there was no trouble, from the players, (fighting etc)  They wouldn't be pressing any charges on us.
