Should really check turn here then check/fold river without improving. Vs a more aggro player who will float turn, etc. it would be much better to check shove the turn since you'll have alot of fold equity and have lots of equity in the pot with 2 overs, GS and FD. But double barreling is not good imo since you almost never ever have any sort of fold equity after that turn. And obviously you should just c/f river, not really sure what on earth that was since villain is never folding anything and any missed draws that you beat aren't going to shove river. -------------------- HAND #5 -------------------- Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker MP: $32.80 (131.2 bb) CO: $9.30 (37.2 bb) BTN: $25 (100 bb) SeanyJ (SB): $47.15 (188.6 bb) BB: $58 (232 bb) Pre-Flop: SeanyJ is SB with Q[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] Q[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] 3 folds, SeanyJ raises to $1, BB calls $0.75 Flop: ($2) 2[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/spade.gif[/IMG] 9[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/diamond.gif[/IMG] 3[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] (2 players) SeanyJ bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50 Turn: ($5) 6[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] (2 players) SeanyJ bets $4.25, BB calls $4.25 River: ($13.50) 5[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/diamond.gif[/IMG] (2 players) SeanyJ bets $11, BB raises to $22, SeanyJ calls $11 Results: $57.50 pot ($2 rake) BB showed 4[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] 2[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] (a straight, Two to Six) and won $55.50 ($26.75 net) SeanyJ mucked Q[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] Q[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] (a pair of Queens) and lost (-$28.75 net) Pretty easy fold really since this is almost never a bluff and never worse than 2 pair for value. Bet-calling this river except vs a pretty crazy fish is really bad. And villain is almost certainly a very loose passive fish, in which case this is absolutely absolutely never a bluff nor value that you can beat. -------------------- HAND #6 -------------------- Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players Hand History Converter by Stoxpoker SeanyJ (BTN): $34.65 (138.6 bb) SB: $24.40 (97.6 bb) BB: $23.60 (94.4 bb) MP: $25.70 (102.8 bb) CO: $25.55 (102.2 bb) Pre-Flop: SeanyJ is BTN with A[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] A[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] MP folds, CO raises to $0.75, SeanyJ calls $0.75, 2 folds Flop: ($1.85) T[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] 3[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/spade.gif[/IMG] 8[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/diamond.gif[/IMG] (2 players) CO bets $1.25, SeanyJ calls $1.25 Turn: ($4.35) 5[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] (2 players) CO bets $3, SeanyJ calls $3 River: ($10.35) 6[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/diamond.gif[/IMG] (2 players) CO bets $20.55 and is all-in, SeanyJ calls $20.55 Results: $51.45 pot ($2 rake) CO showed 6[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] 6[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] (three of a kind, Sixes) and won $49.45 ($23.90 net) SeanyJ mucked A[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/heart.gif[/IMG] A[IMG]http://www.stoxpoker.com/hand_history_converter/images/emoticons/club.gif[/IMG] (a pair of Aces) and lost (-$25.55 net) This is horrifically played - just so bad on every single street. River is always a fold especially with how badly pre-river was butchered. If villain is such a maniac that this call could ever be profitable then what on earth are you doing preflop and on the flop? The board just goes to absolute hell on turn/river.
