I was running great, never been playing big tournament like this before, and after almost getting to the day 2, (2 hours left to advance, and I had very good stack [avg was about 200k and I had 300k]) I busted on AK vs 3d5d (!!!) going all in pre flop. You may think that this was very fishy play, and I shouldnt have gone all in with AK (which is true considering how deep I was), but I had a great read on the guy and knew he had absolutely nothing, as he was doing this preflop allin regularly with trash hands. After that, I was really feeling bad. I had a shot to start my "poker career" and build my bankroll with just 1 tournament and I got screwed, mostly by myself, like this. I would really appreciate the coaching and put it into use. I study poker theory a lot, but mostly cash games and this could help me improve my tournament game. You said you dont claim to be any sort of poker master - well, who can claim that? :) Its completely fine from me, as you are definitely a better tournament player than me, and that means I can learn new things from your words.
