Well, after playing a good 5c/10c session earlier I lost all my profits (like $30) with a missed tp/fd hand and KK<AJ aipf, so I tilted and left to a .5/1 flhe table to blow some steam (obv this is a bad idea. I rarely do this when I tilt) Actually had a bit of fun. After having a swingy couple of hands I realized how much quicker I could build up my br playing it v. NL. Plus, easier decisions is always nice. So I had an extended session and here's the results: about hand 115 is where my non tilt session started. It's the longest single table session I've ever played (there was a short stint, maybe half hour where there is two tables) for a total of like 4 hours. Obviously I need to multi table this to make it worth while, but playing multiple tables of a new game is not a good idea obv. There was one player who I played with for about 450 of those hands and every time I had top pair or better I just got as much money in every round I could with him. He never ever bets without the nuts but always calls with no pair/no draw. He lost like $70 throughout the session, at least $25 of it to me. I like limit because it seems like in my small sample you get paid off with marginal hands much more often, which negates the few times I can't get max value out of big hands. And for those who hate limit: I had a few times where someone would river a higher pair with questionable calls during the hand, but it's not as annoying as you'd think.
