When sitting at a cash game table, playing pot limit Omaha, I have a decent stack, but 1 of my opponents has 3x my stack size. He has been aggressive the whole time raising preflop every hand and betting post flop as well large amounts. I'm in a hand against him and 1 other player. The other player is small stacked and goes all in preflop. so when flop comes I have 1/3 of my chips in already and aggressive guy bets max on flop so its all in or fold for me. I flop a set so I call. There's a flush draw out there so im scared of that but I know I'm in the lead. Long story short, chip leader bully guy gets runner runner to make a straight. He was betting the flop max with basically nothing trying to make me fold but I don't. It seems suspicious how he made runner runner straight since it was a bluff bet and I was so far ahead percentage wise. I feel like either he's a site employee so it's like he's not really playing with his own money therefore he doesn't care win or lose and that's why he's raising on every hand pre and post flop, or he has some type of software installed that tells him what the turn and river cards will be in advance. I can't think of another reason to explain his play style. Mind you I've been playing at this table for the last 2 hours at least. It's a huge pot and contains my whole bankroll. Seems like he knows it. It would have nearly tripled my bankroll. Just seems so shady hands like these turn me off from playing online. Did I make the right play?
