Anways long story short I layed it down.  He showed he had a set of 8's without the diamond.

I know not much of a short story, but the best I could do.  Anyways I have done this once of twice online (throwing the best hand away).  But in the end I don't risk my stack without the nuts, and I seem to still walk away up.  Anyways I just need some reassurance that I am not making a big mistake by not calling with the second best hand.

Not much you guys can say, but anything would be nice...I still haven't forgotten the laydown last night.  It was a bad read. :mad:
