Actually, I have a tip that Isildur1 is going to arrive disguised as Tony G.

Thats cool, a CC member named Leatherass made it that far. I never got to play with him on a table or seen any of his threads. I wish him the best of luck and hope all goes well for him in the future. If he's on the P'stars team, he must be a pretty good player. :)

I knew it was just a matter of time before seeing this. There was starting to be a little too much hype for someone who is trying to stay under the radar. In case you're not wanting to read the link, Isildur pulled out and isn't playing it anymore...

Bah! Either way.. it'll still be great to see Leatherass playing in there. Leatherass vs. Phil Laak would be a great matchup as well.

Hmmmm makes me wonder..... Is this maybe a multi-accouter that really does not want to revile who he is because of this? I wouldn't think so, but I dunno... Maybe he is a ninja?

I think, and I have thought this since I saw that Tony G was going to stake him, that this was just a whole publicity stunt from the beginning. If he was really going to be playing, I think there would be some kind of real comments from him, possibly from FullTilt chat since that is the only way anyone really knows that it's coming from him. Which he hasn't made. Everything about the story from the beginning to the end has come from Tony G...no one else has had any contact or conversation about it...BS if you ask me.

"mystery Swedish pro Isildur1, who may be wearing a mask to preserve his identity when the cards are dealt in eight days’ time"

I hear that Isildur1 will show his face to the Poker world. He cant go on living life this with all the money to be won at wsop or EPT. He would be crazy to stay as an alias. On the other hand He is pretty cool keeping himself unknown:D  :p

Guys,

There is a post somewhere on the site. Isildur1 backed out at the last minute via text to Tony G. It was pretty weak. Tony is apparently DONE with him.

Definitely a shame he backed out and I never got to sit with him. That would've been pretty fun and I would have welcomed the challenge, but that is not a claim that I am better or anything. I think it would have been fun and I am sad it didn't happen. I am sure we will see him come out from behind the curtain at some point.
