Legal in TEXAS?

I read that there was a vote on legal poker rooms, on a county by county basics. Has anyone go some solid facts on this? I heard it was passed by a vote of 6 to 3.. If this is true it would be a great step for the world of poker,,considering we are in the middle of the "Bible Belt".....
Let me know your facts and thoughts on this action.

anything is legal in texas... including inbreeding. So it doesn't surprise me that they would legalize poker rooms. What else is there to do there, anyways?
