I play Limit on occasion but what it comes down to is the hands you play.  I think if you play ABC poker Limit is a great place to park and grind.  
 
With NL each decision you make could be your last which can mean more profit or more loss depending on how good of a player you are and how good decisions you can make.
 
If you are a solid player and want to min your loss play limit.  Just play ABC poker dont get fancy, dont try to bluff pre, flop, or turn.  Bet and raise for value.  PLAY IN POSITION!
 
because of the nature of the game I think limit is a little easier and overall makes more sense.  NL is crazy and unpredictable at times.  
 
The best though is weak NL tables that combine the best of both worlds....  NL tables that the beggining betting culture is like limit (by this I mean lazy/volentary sychronized betting/raising by villans on early streets: example most villans bet in intervals of 2x or 3x BB till turn or river no matter pot size) are very profitable because you get pot odds on draws and make villans pay on river when hit and when villans hit their draws you fold willing to let the 2nd best hand go.  For me this is the perfect table to play!
