I actually prefer live. I think it's easier to make money if you have good discipline and good discernment. It gives you more info than regular online which helps in making good decisions, and also allows you more time to think through a decision..

I don't get to play live much 150 miles to closest casino. I'm 71 years old so I get pretty tired. I don't play cash games, mainly a tournament player.
So online is where I'm at.

The online game has fewer distractions and thus a better concentration.

I love live tourneys. You can get way better reads on people than online. I think that's a really important part of poker that's difficult online.

I like playing online , I can have the buyins and the games I desire when I want them , this is very comfortable , especially for the micro buyins . Now with friends , I play rarily poker live , at casinos I haven't played and don't want to . So yes , I vote for online poker :D

I don't think this is true statement. If you play with talkative player, then maybe it can be more about psychology, but there are players who just turn into a stone while in a hand. You have to have solid strategy for both online and live. A very good advice I heard from one of the poker pros (don't remember who was that, but it was some high stakes poker player on twitch) was to follow the correct strategy and use tells only in close spots. Also is not poker psychology more about how players play more then live tells? I think it is and it apples to both online and live.
Live poker may had been more about psychology than the strategy 20 years ago, but definitely not now. More and more online players have big successes live. BTW. talking about old poker, it is fun to watch wsop from 80s and 90s, because you can see how much the game has changed ;).
