Low stakes Draw/Stud: is it stealing or luck?

I played some low stakes 7 card stud and 5 card draw just to see what it was like. I ended up going up about 20% of my bankroll. Is this a run of good cards or is the competition just not as tight compared to NLHE?

IMO most newer players have not really been exposed to these games. Especially if you are playing limit.

The competition is terrible, and you are likely playing outside of your bankroll limits. You also might be terrible, since variance is almost a better hallucinogen than LSD, for poker players at least. You're probably just less terrible than they are

A few sessions of 7 card stud and 5 card draw are not enough to determine one's skill at the game.
It is my opinion that only after many games can a player evaluate his play. when you can win 70 to 90 percent of the times you play, at the level you are comfortable with over a significant period; then you can consider yourself a expert player.
