I believe that luck as we have labeled it, is a very real thing. I like to think of it as a random component within the universe. I also believe it's influenced by your thoughts, emotions, and character. There absolutely is a "luck" factor in poker. However, mathematics is absolute, over enough time odds will always prove true. With that being said, I don't so much as have any particular hole cards I prefer over others but, for what it's worth, K, K has been my personal nemesis for a very long time. I won't fold them pre-flop of course but I get crushed playing them A LOT! Crushed by power hands like 2, 4 os, 5, 9 suited (but they were suited). I know over the long run, like maybe a million years, it will all even out, For the time being, and several years now, I am not lucky with them at all. As a side note, I am always trying to adjust my strategy but wow some of the bad beats I have taken seems unbelievable, To be fair, I have laid some horrendous bad beats on others also (never with K, K though). :D
