Lucky Poker Charm?

I was watching an old EPT tournie and i saw that a player had plastic turtles on table, for bring luck

I think this a great idea... anything for more luck and a charm(s) can't hurt?
I starting always have my tiny stuffed giraffe, here on my desk next to keyboard for bring me luck! (so cute it)

Please tell us what lucky charm you have with you for poker ok?

For me this is useless. The so called luck (which is pure variance) can not be influenced by bringing anything on the table. It can't be influenced at all in fact because if it could poker would not be such interesting game. The only thing i bring on the table is card protector and only because of its practical use.

Depends on where it playing, I brought a wsop silver chip to a casino in my home time and if frightened the crap out of the players around me I just kept spinning it all tourney and every time I made a move they allowed me to steal so it can help

I have no talisman.But a colleague from work told me that when his friend was in the casino(played the slot machines)people came with a crew cut .They told him that this is a happy hedgehog and he brings good luck,you have to put it on the button and the machine will win.He agreed to let the hedgehog,the legs at the clicked buttons and the person won a large enough amount of money.This man went to the bar for joy, there he met a girl, drank with her, and then woke up without money.I don't know if it really was like that, but I was told this story.

Last time I won a humongous pot there was a penny sitting on my desk. I have left it there since. The last couple of weeks I have been on a massive down swing, I'm about to toss that penny outside.

I have seen many players have something at the table with them or a piece of clothing or hat that they believe brings them luck. Although I don't have anything like this I do have a ritual that I do before I start any game or tournament.

I always make a mental note of players who have trinkets in live play. Normally weaker players in my humble opinion. Never seen anyone who brings there lucky card protector stick around long. These guys are rail birds. There is only one player I can recall that had any amount of success while brandishing his Lucky Shark.

I don't have a lucky charm when playing online but when playing live I try to get as many lucky charms as possible, I think most people call these chips 😂

For me that is indifferent, there are players who have a different way of playing poker to hide their expressions, there are players who have amulets. Personally, I do not use anything, I just focus on the game.

When I play live, there is coin like object my dad gave me, that is used as card protector. It is not for the luck factor it is used for though. Don't view any material possesion to be lucky or unluckier than another. Card protecting coin has more sentimental value than luck.

me what brings me luck is a song, I put it in loop and while it is running I win

I prefer to train myself and rely on my skills rather than on an amulet or lucky charm. Luck is what happens when the preparation meets the opportunity. if Doyle Brunson said it's true.

Many people use some kind of lucky charm, but in live poker it's becoming less popular.

The way in which a person uses his lucky charm gives away a bit of information about his hand (tells).

For example, when you have a good hand, you place your lucky charm on the cards. With bad cards, you don't.

If your opponent is paying attention, he can see when you have a good hand or at least when you have cards you intend on playing.

If you hold the lucky charm in your hand, it might be a sign of holding good cards or an intent to play your cards.
