The article doesn't even state whether or not this guy knew his opponent had cancer when they became heads up. All it says is she offered to chop the pot. Although the guy has no class for playing in the tournament to begin with, it would be pretty classless for the lady to come out with, "Yea so we should chop the pot cause.......I have breast cancer". If this was a tournament devoted to charity or cancer survivors of some sort, then it would be completely different of course.

So all of you labeling this guy as the devil himself would honestly chop the pot of whatever tournament you were in if your opponent heads up started saying they had cancer of if you knew they had cancer? This is poker, you don't sit down at a table with hustlers expecting any sympathy for your problems.

You see a person who is drunk off their ass or a compulsive gambler sit down at your ring table, what do you do? Fold all your hands to him and move to a different table?
