Human predators don't seem to be particularly fond of large prey. 6' 3" 220lb men just don't come up missing as often as women, and children seem to come up missing more than men and women put together. The point is still there. That ladies' tournaments are designed to draw women to the game. To give them a place which is at least perceived as safe, less intimidating, and more comfortable. I don't know why I'm surprised that some men don't or won't get it. After all, some men whine and moan, and will even go so far as to wear a dress for ladies night just to get half price drinks.
