I know a lot of professionals who have felt that hey have got to a stage where they no longer feel that tracking results on a day to day basis is that helpful. If you are making the most profitable plays possible then the results will follow without you knowing them exactly. I'm pretty sure this man was not doing that either. I think that the main problem with people like that is that they can convince the self that they are playing as profitably as possible and massively overvalue their own skill because they have never studied.

Anyhow, being 100 buyins down is very rough (although not the worst thing I've heard) and the guy needs to change up his game a lot. He should also probably take a long break, and perhaps study the game during that time.

Hopefully one day the guy can become a winning player. Like... I sort of hope he can become a winning player :p
