misdeal?

OK OP question is if a player picks up another players cards and looks at them accidently not seeing the cards as a player is looking at them. So in the situation OP has given I tweeted the very well known TD Matt Savage who was the wsop TD until 2005 I think and now is doing such tournaments as the Bay101 and others, any way here is the question and answer.

I agree oz I expected a seat 5 hand was dead And everyone sees it and play continues bit I guess the rule makes sense so that a player can't foul another players hand and still play theirs I think the whole ruling is based also on the fact that action occurred.

if its a home game than I would just do a misdeal. It happens a lot when there is drinking involved and stuff like that. I feel its just fair to do a misdeal b/c sometimes its the dealer's fault if there is a lot of talking and stuff adn they throw it in front of the wrong player. just out of respect b/c they are usually friends we just do a misdeal
