Does anybody not really care even if online poker did get dry in like >5 years? Maybe it is just me, but i find it hard enough to get motivated to play now and i'm quite sure i will ****ing hate this game in 5 years. Obviously i'd love uigea to get overturned, as it will definitely increase the lifespan of online poker and soften the games, but i'm quite sure i'll be ready to move on to other things in a few years, even if it means making much less money than can be made from online poker. Idk, i'm really struggling with having no motivation to play lately, which is worrying seeing as i am intending to play this w/o a job/school for the next year. I just DREAD the days where i get stuck like 5 buy ins right away and end up playing a long session trying to get unstuck. What i wouldnt' do to be able to log long sessions when i am winning and stop right away when losing - but i just HATE losing days. Just an idiotic mentality as i've made >$100/hr for the entire year, so it would make sense just to play and suck up the variance. But instead i'd just rather a "feel good" + couple hundred dollar day rather than "risking" turning it into a losing day. Seriously got to fix this - it is actually the one thing that has impressed me about fullflush (and ivey does this as well) but he tends to quit right after a beat/loss of momentum. I think it is a really +EV skill to be able to quit at the right time and leave money on the table, but is something i really struggle with HU (obv it isn't a problem in 6max, since you aren't leaving money on the table per se since a bunch of ppl have a shot at it). I just can't bring myself to quit when down until i am just sick of playing. It isn't a tilt problem, but it is hard to play HU w/ no momentum and a bad metagame/image.
