their claims that poker could be banned and all money lost is kind of paranoid and unlikely too imo i think if anything poker will become more accepted and legalized over the next years because come on what government is gonna say no to more tax revenue ? have they seen how much they tax cigarettes ? it's not like that ain't harmful.

ive talked to my mom and shes somewhat reasonable about it but my dads always a hardass.

also they keep bringing up the stock market how so many people lost money without ever thinking it would be possible, but come one playing on the stock market is so much more risky and less skill involved (:p) than poker is.
then theres the failing economies, but like galfond said in that CC iview i think the poker economy and regular economy are quite different and just because one is failing doesnt mean the other will too imo

so that leaves me to convince my dad which will probably never happen.
