Moving from SNG to Cash Games

It seems to work for you, keep it that way.
Do consider the offered advise on BRM for the future...

I hope you didn't think I was talking to you when I called someone a 'fish', I was referring to another person who was trying to brag about their shorstacking skillz while betraying their lack of knowledge of the game.

You've shown that you want to improve, and that's one of the most important things in poker. You have lots of experience with SnG's, and you need to make sure that what you take from those applies to cash games. I do think you are on a good run, but there is absolutely no way you should be playing 100 NL even short stacked with a $24 (only 1 buyin :eek: ) or even a $150 roll. Shortstack play is just too swingy. Leave the money in the account unless you want to have to redeposit.

Enjoy it while it last everyone at some stage hits a rush like this and thinks they

are the worlds next Tom Dwan. Unfortunately for 99.9% of us reality of poker

variance sets in, and we see our streak in the rear mirror. And understand in

retrospect what was happening. I'm sure you have a big future in poker if you

stick to it, but as has been suggested by many others in this thread. You have

alot to learn as do I, and many others in this forum.

Keep up the good work and enjoy your rushes they are what we all play poker

for so ride it out and enjoy it.

No it was some guy whos post was erased....anyway....Yea tell me about it. One rack and if I go below 13$ i move to the .25/.50 and build it back and usually I double up, leave, drop the cash into the cashier and come back to play as to not risk too much

example of why i dont play with 100:

Aghhh...just went from 156$ to 111$ two donkey suckouts on hands I was way ahead in. Literally runner runner 2% suckout cards. See THATS why I dont want to start with 100 cause If I get the suckout donk who beats me I dont lose alot and If I win Im content with winning 20 instead of 100. I understand the 80% figure but what good is that if YOU DONT HAVE MONEY? I would rather lose that 20% and still have plenty of racks to play with and be content with my winnings.

I guess it is like this: we all agree that its a donkey minefield out there so why not play like it? I can see if you are playing with people who are good that respect bets, not calling stations and understand the game (not going all in preflop with king jack offsuit) that you can risk more but if I am playing against donkeys I want to go to war with the best hand.

oh and I need to read up on bankrolls more I guess

Not at all, why should I be?

I can't force you to believe me, but if you can make the SS strategy work long term like that then more power to you.

You can still win 20$ if you play full stacked at the 25NL tables. And you'll certainly be playing against worse players that will give you their stack more often.
