They have been customized with a hotstamp for denominations and the GPT logo. These chips are, for all intents and purposes, worthless from a collector's point of view. The case, though small, may have collector's value due to its link to a known (?) poker tour. Chip sets that are valued by collectors of playable sets are almost always "compressed clay", "ceramic", or vinyl. Note that there is little or no clay in the compressed clay chips nor the ceramics. I [I]think[/I] that vinyl chips may actually contain a significant amount of vinyl - or not. I suppose these chips could have some collector value if they were actually used on the tour. An image search of "Grosvenor UK Poker Tour" results in some other injection molded, slugged chips on the table: [ATTACH]265422._xfImport[/ATTACH] The ones pictured are of about the same quality as dice chips, a little better, and they allow for stickers that mimic inlays on compressed clay chips so there is no need to hotstamp a plastic chip. Your chips are completely functional for a home game. My only concern is the breakdown. It looks like you have: [B]T10 [/B]100X [B]T25 [/B]50X [B]T50[/B] 50X [B]T100 [/B]50X [B]T500 [/B]50X Denominations are most conveniently increased by 4X and 5X jumps. Typically 1,5,25,100,500. Sometimes bigger chips have smaller jumps like 500, 1000, but generally for ease of play it's 4X or 5X. [/QUOTE]
