I love music especially when I play poker it relaxes me and I avoid other distractions. Being from Venezuela I love salsa and merengue.

I recommend my favorite canadian rock band that I listen to when I play poker, the birthday massacre motivates me and when I play I want to win, unfortunately or fortunately I couldn't find an alternative replacement for this rock band, it's special and I really like it

It's hard to recommend something because music goes in taste.
But for sure anything that keeps you relaxed and focused, nothing too distracting or hardcore.

Hey.
I don't listen to music while playing. I am distracted by extraneous noises. And most likely I'm not one of those who constantly listen to music. But many people play and listen to music with headphones, I think it all depends on your temperament. Hear what you like rhythmically, without causing tension or complete relaxation.

None. It distracts you from the game and imposes some kind of mood. But that is exactly the thing you, the thinking player, want to avoid. You want to base your decisions on some kind of calculus, not on a mood.

not every one is the same be be zoned in when playing different players use different strategies
for me some soothing melodies works it helps me remain centered throughout tourneys

Funny, music helps me to relax, concentrate and not pay attention to other stuff around. But I can't hear relaxing music and similar otherwise I would fall sleep. So, when I'm playing and want to hear some music, I go for eletronic, dubstep or things like that.

In live games, I started putting headphones and listening to music so I can avoid annoying conversations at the tables, but after I found that music helps me cope with bad beats in a better way. Now even if I am playing online ,I kept the habit of listening to music with headphones in my home
