rap or country, I know some people are talking about needing to listen to something slow to calm them down, but sometimes there's nothing like a little eminem to calm you down.

I listen to some punk rock to keep me happy! bands like NOFX, pennywise and propagandhi are awesome for poker! just my opinion!

Western themes for tournaments

I usually have Rounders Radio playing but there's nothing better to get you in the mood in the late stages of a MTT than the good old spaghetti western themes... Fistful of Dollars theme, The Good,bad and the ugly-theme etc.etc.

Or maybe there's just something terribly wrong with me...

i've tried to listen to music during live tounreys and cash games but it just didnt help me at all i had to be in the game and listening to what evceryone is saying and doing ya know?

for live I actually had never listened to music before, but if you just have music in one ear you can still hear what's going on. If you can't hear, turn the music down. Not sure it actually helps, but that way you can hear, pay attention, and still listen to music.
