Negreanu notebook?

hey, do any of you guys know why daniel always has a notebook with him?...he always seems to have it under the table and looks at it every so often...he uses it at cash games, but surely he wouldnt need to take notes on his opponents, as he would know their game inside out.

to keep track on how much a person/ or himself is winning and losing at a session. Alot of pros do this to keep track

* counting how many times someone asks him why he's always carrying a notebook

Dunno that I've ever noticed that, but anywho.

Could be for all sorts of reasons, but it's probably not keeping notes on opponents. Might be tracking prop bets or people that have borrowed money from him or something, or might be taking notes for a book or his blog.
