Sunday Blog - Part 2 Summary of Big Hands Holdem I played about 3 hours of holdem and in that time there was a number of big hands. My first session had so many big hands that I am only going to talk about those bigger then 3.50$. My first hand happened almost right away at table 1. I had a pair of aces and bet big. My opponent hit a pair of jacks on the flop which made him raise and call my all-in bet. No help for him on the turn and river pulled a 4.28$ pot my way. The next big hand came on the back-end of my session. A raise by me and a reraise by my opponent almost made me fold but after time I decided to call with a Q on the flop giving me top pair top kicker. My opponent went all-in and I quickly called with him showing AK. No help for him on the turn and river and I won a hefty 3.68$. In my mini-session at 5pm there were back to back big hands at table 4 (one a loss and one a win. The first was a win of 4.03$. On a board of A A Q 4 5 my opponent held A J and called down my all-in as I held Q Q. The next unfortunately was a huge loss hand which also turend out ot be the biggest hand of the day in holdem. Here it is: Full Tilt Poker Game #11889328179: Table Anita (6 max) - $0.01/$0.02 - No Limit Hold'em - 20:09:47 ET - 2009/04/26 Seat 1: PKR_EMPRR ($2) Seat 2: dirtydirtynick ($2.36) Seat 3: YouLovelt ($2.90) Seat 4: pommedel ($1.73) Seat 5: I_aint_Stoopid ($1.85) Seat 6: LordNicon ($4.04) LordNicon posts the small blind of $0.01 PKR_EMPRR posts the big blind of $0.02 The button is in seat #5 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to LordNicon [Kc Kh] dirtydirtynick folds YouLovelt raises to $0.04 pommedel folds I_aint_Stoopid folds LordNicon raises to $0.14 PKR_EMPRR adds $0.02 PKR_EMPRR folds YouLovelt raises to $0.90 LordNicon raises to $4.04, and is all in YouLovelt calls $2, and is all in LordNicon shows [Kc Kh] YouLovelt shows [Jc Ah] Uncalled bet of $1.14 returned to LordNicon *** FLOP *** [5h 8h 5s] *** TURN *** [5h 8h 5s] [Ad] *** RIVER *** [5h 8h 5s Ad] [3h] LordNicon shows two pair, Kings and Fives YouLovelt shows two pair, Aces and Fives YouLovelt wins the pot ($5.44) with two pair, Aces and Fives LordNicon: wow *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $5.82 | Rake $0.38 Board: [5h 8h 5s Ad 3h] Seat 1: PKR_EMPRR (big blind) folded before the Flop Seat 2: dirtydirtynick didn't bet (folded) Seat 3: YouLovelt showed [Jc Ah] and won ($5.44) with two pair, Aces and Fives Seat 4: pommedel didn't bet (folded) Seat 5: I_aint_Stoopid (button) didn't bet (folded) Seat 6: LordNicon (small blind) showed [Kc Kh] and lost with two pair, Kings and Fives Omaha Omaha wasn't as eventful but I still had some hands to show.
