Today I signed up to Everest and deposited $50 with a $200 bonus to clear. This bonus is cleared in increments so I have to collect 2800 summit points by December 9 to get the full $200, if I don't get there I just get whatever amount I reached. It's $0.07 per summit point, and the good thing is the points are given based on table rake. So even if I fold preflop and the rake is huge I get the points, according to some website. Also the points are given with decimals. And when you are the first or second person to join a table you get double points for the rest of the time you play on that table. It's mostly HU you're playing as the tables never really fill up more than 3 handed. Then how to describe Everest ? Well in 1 word: [B]calling station![/B] Seriously it's that bad, there's about 2/3 good TAGs when I open up 6 tables.. The rest is horrible as ****. Graph below will explain the rest. I am playing 10nl with not much of a BRM cushion because it goes from 2nl to 10nl. Since I started I've already almost doubled my br so it seems to be working. So I'm happy again and enjoying Everest, good thing is that the PT3 HUD works with Everest too and the software ain't that bad. Although the bet amounts are a small font so that's confusing some times, and I time out a bit more cause of no urgent table script and the pop up system ain't that great either.
