I also got an incredible bit of luck last night in this game by taking a small but silly risk , and while not a huge score or anything it felt like a renewed chance to really become a next level player in terms of discipline, focus, and patience. I can either take it or squander it and you all know what the right thing is to do. But now I can "know" what stakes I'm likely a winner at and where to stay and naturally try to move up from. Sure we could deposit a solid roll higher but just lose it back slowly if we can't beat higher stakes yet. I wish I knew now what I knew a few years ago when I binked a tourney and took it more seriously. But then again I'll never know if I was a winning player or losing player back then or just lucky...now I can say with numbers backing me up that I'm the right track to winning. Don't give up if you're losing but DO listen to advice from others who have followed BRM and studied and reviewed their stats over ever growing hand samples. And do track your progress because I'll tell you what, now when I lose AA to some jabroni with 58o AI pre flop for the 5th time in a row...I can look at my numbers and see I'm solidly making correct decisions and winning over larger and larger samples. There's a confidence boost to be found in being brutally honest with yourself and having the numbers to prove what you're doing is a winning strategy. :D [/QUOTE]
