-I guess if you have AK and you're wondering how often you're against a pocket pair or something like that...  This fundamentally goes against the "what is my opponent's range?" thinking so I don't know how useful this is.

Playing the flop and how likely we are to see a flop we like.
-Lets say at least one over card flops 25% of the time.  Do you want to see a flop?  Lets say at least one over card flops 65% of the time.  Do you want to see a flop?  Certain hands hit the flop a larger percentage of the time and knowing how often we get a flop we like and how hard we hit it when we do changes the way we play preflop.

Pot odds.
-You are drawing to the nut flush draw with one card to come.  You are getting 4:1 to call (call 200 in a 800 chip pot).  You have odds to draw because your call is immediately profitable.
