I've been playing Omaha lately at PS and I'm really enjoying it.The four cards received give us more opportunity to form a flush or full house.I'm discovering the world of poker here after registering at CC and I recommend you try to play Omaha sometimes.

I love Omaha....

Unfortunately it is not really popular online where most people play Holdem...
So the choice of tournaments isnt that good for Omaha.

The best thing is that You can win a lot against players who think
they are playing Holdem with 4 cards

and will pay your bets
because they think that a low set is a killer hand...

If You learn the basics before You go and play then You usually already have an edge
over many people at the Omaha tables!

I have been playing Omaha H/L with play money on PS. This is fun.
I am not playing with real money yet. Still training.

It is hard to find games with Omaha H/L with low stakes, normally you will have to play 1 $ a game.

Yeah with four starting hands, the possibility of making hand increased significantly. But river can make destroy your stake.

I also love Omaha, it is possible to quickly assemble a combination and play fun for me, but there are also losing situations in it, and in Omaha you need to be very careful when you get a card in the beginning!

For me omaha >>>> holdem
The majority of the tournaments that I play is omaha, especially h/l, it's so much more fun than other types of poker, sad that the GTD tournaments are so much worse in term of prizes than NLH

Omaha is much difficult than holdem because it has four cards.

Omaha is much interesting than holdem because it is more changeable ,you

should usually get a nuts hand to win the pot

Yes, but so have your opponents. Each player has six different two card starting hands. In a nine handed game, that's forty eight different starting hand combinations against you.

I assume you mean "with four starting cards". If not, then it's six starting hand combinations.

Omaha is after holdem most popular variant of poker online game.We must make huge difference between omaha hi lo and omaha.Omaha is nuts game,instead omaha hi lo where you got chance to catch lo with community hands 8765432 A and chasing hands to make win even with lo nuts like lo straight A2345.Very fun game.

Maybe it feels great to make these combinations, but don1t forget that your opponent has the exact same chances

I used to only spend my time in Omaha Sit & Gos/ Cash Games but I'm not especially good at it. I could win up to $50 in a single sitting and then come back the next day and lose it all plus some. Really just an up and down roller coaster for me.

Definitely more exciting than playing holdem all the time.

When you feel like you never seem to hit anything switch it up and play some PLO.
