When all was said and done, at the end of the session I was a gold star and had $1,005.08. Although I took the detour to $500ish, I made the goal 2 weeks before my initial goal (my original goal was start of Spring break, which is when we go to Florida for our baseball conference tournament) and a few days before my most recent goal. I'm actually planning to continue with 25nl though until the break, mainly because I'm aiming for $1,070 for the Harrington cash game books. As I mentioned in the other thread I'll be doing a video (take 4, fingers crossed it'll work this time) tomorrow morning at 25nl, and in general I just don't want to move up to 50nl until after I get back from Spring break, and then hopefully I can dive into it and play a lot of hands. Hopefully I don't run into a downswing and end up with less than $1,000 at the start of Spring break, but I'll take my chances. I really like the way I've been playing recently, I've been getting a lot more aggressive and been much better at recognizing (this recognition is a lot easier with the aggression as well) when I'm beat and folding accordingly. I'm controlling the pot size with marginal hands and I'm extracting good value from my hands when I hit. That doesn't mean I'm playing the best possible, and I'm definitely going to continue to work on my game and plug the smaller leaks. I'm just playing as good as I've ever been, and it feels great.
