For me, online is more preferable. More hands per hour, more tables respectively. and in general, a more dynamic game. Plus again, statistics on opponents.

Online is surely convenient and easy. But offline play gives you real spirit of poker, gamble. Because you can see the face and expression in front of you. And also you can hear and smell them. That all things give you some what the poker really is and stimulate you to play more seriously. I think that would be a great help you to increase your ability.

I absolutely prefer online over casino, but not for any reason that has to do with the difference in playing experiences, but simply because, well...online I can buy in to a tournament for a couple bucks or even a single dime. Live venues I'm lucky to find an event with an entry of less than $50.
